Thump Vice: Movement’s Celebrating its 10th Birthday in Style

Last year we found ourselves, bleary-eyed and hungover, looking at the world famous Fiat test track atop a hotel in Turin. The night before we’d partied harder than we’ve ever partied at Movement. We’d spent the day drinking Jaegerbombs with a very famous DJ in a bar that wasn’t used to a rowdy crowd of UK journalists on a mad one. We saw Moodymann and Jeff Mills, Steffi and Ellen Allien. It was great and, happily, we’re ready to do it all over again this coming October.

Movement is back with a bumper crop of big names to celebrate it’s tenth edition in the Italian city. This coming Halloween sees the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick, Derrick May, Dixon, Ame, Len Faki, Derrick Carter and Robert Hood don their best party clothes for the biggest bash since our 6th birthday down at the community centre. While we can’t guarantee jelly and ice cream, and there’s probably not a goodie bag to take home, there will be set after set by some of the biggest names in contemporary clubbing.
