The European cousin of the “Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF)”, one of the most important and historical dance music Festivals of the world, held in Detroit since 2000.
Movement debuts for the first time outside american borders the 15th December 2006 in Turin to celebrate the ending of the Winter Olympics.
In 2008 Movement increases his cultural program, in collaboration with Politecnico of Torino presents ” High Tech Soul ” a Gary Bredow documentary.
The 2009 edition happens in two days, 30th and 31st October. The 4th edition hosts more than 20 international DJs, 25 hours of live music, 3D projections and 15.000 people.
In 2010 happens the International Festival consecration: at PalaOlimpico-Isozaki played the Chemical Brothers.
In 2012 Movement transfer to Padiglione 5 of Torino Esposizioni.
From 2013 CasaMovement is Lingotto Fiere di Torino.
At its 8th edition, Movement 2013’s schedule runs all through October, with renewed attention to the artistic offer, territorial promotion themes, youth education, safety and environmental sustainability.
10th edition’s programme starts from Saturday 24th October until Sunday 1st November, offering excellence performances.
Movement 2015 cares to quality offers, territory promotion, digitally innovation and sustainability.
