MOVEMENT TORINO MUSIC FESTIVAL, the Italian cousin of the legendary Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF), returns to Torino to celebrate its Tenth Anniversary with an extraordinary week full of appointments, starting from Saturday 24th October until Sunday 1st November.

After the great success of the latest edition of Kappa FuturFestival, with more than 40.000 attendees, an exceptional summer with Movement Croatia, once again the MOVEMENT brand aims to become Italy’s most beloved electronic music festival and will bring to the city of the Mole original performances of the best international djs to explore electronic music at 360°.

The line up presents the scene’s most interesting names and the superstar djs will get o n 5 different stages during the Main Show a t Lingotto Fiere: Alan Fitzpatrick, Carola Pisaturo, Chris Liebing, David August, Derrick May, Floorplan aka Robert Hood, Kevin Saunderson, Ilario Alicante, Innervisions (Âme DJ, Dixon, Henrik Schwarz Live, Mano Le Tough, Sandrino), Len Faki, Marcel Fengler, Mathew Jonson vs Minilogue, Nina Kraviz, Nastia, Paul Ritch, Tale of Us, The House that Chicago built (Lil Louis, DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter, Marshall Jefferson).

This tenth edition consolidates the creative process of the MOVEMENT branded initiatives: the Clever Entertainment music and contemporary art format, that offers a high profile artistic selection, amazing locations and keeps an eye on environmental themes.

Once again, in 2015, MOVEMENT TORINO MUSIC FESTIVAL will transform the territory and the city, elevating several locations to contemporary electronic music venues. Thanks to the collaboration with important cultural institutions such as Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi di Torino,Politecnico,Museo del Risparmio,Museo Ettore Fico and BasicVillage’sTemporary Museum the program of the festival offers meetings and lectures that amplify its cultural mission. 24.10 – WarmUp Party Starring: Kerry Chandler & Davide Squillace

27.10 -RedBull Music Academy presents “Classical meets Contemporary” at Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi. Starring: Elektro Guzzi

29.10 – Workshop at Politecnico Torino “Music, technology and digital creativity digitale”: the fith meeting about creative connections between new technologies and music. A new chance to openly talk to producers and DJs that will be part of “Movement”‘s musical happening, an international melting pot of creativity and communication.

30.10 – Happy BDay Superga – Opening Party

MOVEMENT TORINO MUSIC FESTIVAL defines itself as a sustainable entertainment format because it produces more income than what it consumes, estimating a positive territorial economic outcome of more than € 2 million, promoting the territory with a rich cultural and entertaining offer, increasing by 15% each year the environmental integration. The Festival also offers employment to hundreds of people in different positions during the realization of the event. Innovation has always been highly regarded and developed:MOVEMENT confirms itself as one of the “most consumer friendly” festivals in Italy, guaranteeing simple access to information, budget friendly ticket+hotel packages and a simple and quick ticket purchase through Movement Ticketing System. After Kappa FuturFestival also MOVEMENT introduces cashless technology: the audience will be able to purchase in an easier and quicker way, avoiding queues at food, beverage and merchandising stands, topping up digital tokens on just one “card” at one of the several top up stations.

Also in 2015, Movement strengthens the relationship with several private companies through many collaborations with the best Italian industrial Groups (Bacardi-Martini, BasicNet, Editrice LaStampa, FCA, GTT, Gruppo Espresso, Heineken, PublItalia, RedBull, Sagat), as well as collaborating with more than thirty suppliers based in Piedmont. For all those who will visit Torino and Piemonte during the Festival, Movement offers its “Movement Mobility & Hospitality System”, an integrated hospitality and mobility system tailor made for its guests: it promotes Turin’s Airport (Sagat), it conveys overnight stays at local hotels thanks to the collaboration between BookingPiemonte and Festicket, it supports the us of public transportation (GTT e Taxi 011.5730), and last but not least it endorses cultural activities proposed by Città di Torino and Regione Piemonte.
