Movement Festival – 2014 Final Report

Movement Entertainment is proud to share with its supporters the great results of Movement 2014’s 9th edition, confirming itself as the main national electronic music winter Festival.

Honor Medal from the Presidency of the Republic
Movement Festival received, for the third year in a row, the honor medal from the President. No other live-entertainment business ever received the triple honor.

Program and Artists 
The Festival was held from the 25th of October to the 2nd of November, and saw the performance of 50 artists in 5 exclusive locations in the city: the Polytechnic University, Conservatory G. Verdi, Loud Club and Lingotto Fiere’s “Casa Movement”.
Turnout 
35.000 attendees during the week, new Italian record in the field, and more than 45.000 (10%) during the whole of October. 10.000 (+20%) the guest from outside Piedmont in Turin; 2.500 foreign guests.
Territory and Tourism
Movement has further strengthened the tight bounds with the Territory through the collaboration with the most qualified Italian industrial institutions based in Turin and with 50 local suppliers; Movement offers jobs for more than 400 human resources and interacts with local tourist operators. Movement Hospitality System® conveyed 350 (+10%) overnight stays in affiliated hotels and 1.500 Taxi runs with Taxi 011 5730.

Public order and health care
Movement availed itself of the qualified medical care 118 and A.S.L. Torino 2 sanitary unit of Regione Piemonte that helped the perfect  of the event.

Communication and Media
150 national newspapers and magazines and  60 international media wrote about Movement Torino Music Festival 2014; 10 international journalists were hosted at the Festival and more the 25 media operators were coordinated. Thanks to the partnership with media leaders the promotion was qualified and widespread. The website registered 84.000 (+12% vs 2013) single visitors  and 279.000 visited pages (+15%) from July to November. Facebook reached 56.000 likes with 13.500.000 friends of the fans.
